Why don’t you make equipment on the U-Channels anymore?
As of June 2010, all wireless equipment manufacturers had to stop producing equipment that works on the “700MHz Band”.  Our older UHF systems with the U-Channels operated on that specific band of frequencies, and now we are prohibited by the FCC to manufacture, sell, use, or service that equipment, as it is now used by the FCC for emergency broadcast transmissions.
Can I still use my U-Channel system?
Unless licensed by the FCC, all usage of that equipment is prohibited in the United States.  For more information, check out the FCC’s website.  http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones/
What is the battery life of the AH1 transmitter?
The battery should last 4-5 hours under normal usage.
The LED on my transmitter turns on for a moment and then shuts off right after I turn it on, even with new batteries. Is my system broken?
No, the LED on your transmitter will flash, indicating that unit has powered on.  If the light is staying steadily lit, it means your battery is running low, and should be changed shortly.
What does “squelch” do?
The squelch control adjusts the sensitivity of the receiver.  At the minimum setting, the device will look for RF signals, and won’t filter out weaker signals.  This setting is good for those who will be using their systems from longer distances.  The maximum setting will ensure that only the strongest RF signals will be passed through.  A high squelch setting is better for users who are trying to block out interference.
What is the range on my wireless system?
All Samson Wireless equipment can be used within a 150’ radius, as long as the receiver is in line-of-sight.
My audio meter only has three bars, is there something wrong?
No, the audo meter represents how much signal is being passed to the receiver. The more gain and or volume you have your transmitter set to, the more bars on the receiver will become active. As long as the bars are active, you are passing audio signal successfully.
The mic boom doesn’t reach my mouth, is something wrong?
No, the QE mic will end up at the middle of your cheek.
How do I get rid of the static/background noise?
Make sure that the squelch is properly set and that there are no other digital sources of interference (such as a CD Player).
The adjustment strap on my headset is broken, what should I do?
