What kind of rack case can I mount my Hartke amp in?
Our amps, with the exception of the Kilo, are 2 rack spaces.  Any 2 Unit rack case will be satisfactory.
Is the LH Series XLR Direct output pre or post EQ?
The LH direct output is pre EQ.
What kind of tube is in my Hartke amplifier?
Hartke 2000, 3000, 3500, 4000, 5000, 5500, 7000, LH500, and LH1000 use a 12AX7 preamp tube.
Can I have my Hartke speaker reconed?
We no longer offer recone kits.  You can order replacement speakers by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-372-6766.
My Hartke 2500 has extra switches, what are they for?
XLR direct out - top switch is for Ground Lift (in lifted, out normal) - bottom switch is Pre/Post EQ (in is post-eq, out is pre-eq).
Can I get a Hartke cabinet built to be 4 ohms?
We do not offer "custom shop" cabinets.
My new 3500 isn't as loud as the one I owned prior, what could be wrong?
The 3500 has been in production for 20 years, and has undergone a great many changes.  Please call Customer Service at 1-800-372-6766 for info.
When should my amp's cooling fan start spinning?
Most current revisions include at thermally controlled fan, meaning it spins as the amp heats up.
How do I change the voltage on my Hartke amp?
The HA amplifiers are voltage selectable. The fuse sled is located above the AC inlet. Remove the sled and switch the voltage selector.
Are Hartke's power ratings Peak or RMS?
Hartke rates their speaker cabinets RMS.
